Pat Robinson make controversial statement regarding Haiti’s earthquake recently. He spoke in front of his show this morning. He is blaming the quake that just happened on the Haiti pact with the devil. He spoke quite openly about his beliefs about what has happened.
On the Christian Broadcasting Network’s “700 Club” today, after a lengthy interview with a missionary who talked about helping the victims earthquake in Haiti, Rev. Pat Robertson had some interesting thoughts as to why the earthquake struck the impoverished nation.

In regard to Haiti: Your statement came out wrong and non-Chrisitans do not understand. The Bible is the Word of God. God didn’t cause the earhthquake in Haiti, or 9ll, the Devil DID.
God will never touch your free will. The devil comes to Kill, Steal and Destroy. He lives on the earth and the second heaven.God may have allowed it because of sin, disobediece and rebellion. What has gone on over the airwaves regarding your comment is straight from Hell. Plese clarify to the people and tell the non-belivers to read the Bible ,all they want to know is right there.
Your comment was just plain stupid. What deal did New Orleans make with the devil? How about South Asia with the Tsunami that wiped out 250,000 people, they must of really had a pact with the devil to have the Lord wipe them out, 911, yet another deal? How about our homeless, did they make a deal and that is why they are impoverished, furthermore why are you sending money to the Haitian people if you believe them to be devil worshipper’s that God punished what right do you have to support those who survived if God intended them to suffer? Please take your hypocritical statements that do much more harm than good and stick it where the sun don’t shine.

I listened to the you tube of pat Robinson. He made a statement that can be backed by history and the bible. Yes! I am going to quote the scriptures,,,,, TOUCH NOT MY ANNOITED AND DO MY PROPHETS NO HARM…..God said it that settles it. But that won,t make news stories.But heed the warning that in it,s self is a story written by god. America don,t jump on the band wagon to bash this man of god you won,t like the out come from god.NO! MRS,JOY I,M NOT MENTAL EITHER. Thank you Shelia, for saying that. As for New Orleans and all the other places that are being hit. Just take a look at what the are known for. From Martygra to gambling to came sex marriage to killing(Murdering) unborn babies. We are all in a world of hurt soon to seen. May God have mercy on those that are truely His. God isn’t always the one pulling these strings of disaster, but He allows them to happen for reason that God has to judge sin, or He wouldn’t be just. Which He is. Repent,for the day is at hand.
Your right! How dare these people choose to be born in a country that made a pact with the devil in the 1800s! What were they thinking? Did they think they were going to have the options of western religion over there? Sucks to be born on the wrong side of the United States of America-funny how that works. Just want to say, Ok the Bible says lots of things and a lot of which has been decided by today’s humans to be wrong. For example some in the bible had many many wives. Today bigomy is illegal. I’m sorry but no one “deserves” what the Hatians are going thru no matter what their ancestors did. What about our ancestors, didn’t we go over to their island, steal their people and bring them back to America to be slaves? Are we now “cursed”. And like Kathy said, what would Jesus do? Would Jesus have said you are “cursed” and you brought this on yourselves. I guess it sucks to be born in Hatie and have the history that they do if that means that becuase of what their ancestors did ( if that is even really what happened as history tends to be twisted to make a point) as being Hatian means you are forever cursed. And like Jennifer stated, I guess New Orleans is cursed, NY is cursed and so is every other coutry/state where people belive in things other than what Pat Robinson belives. We were founded on Freedom of Religon and I’m sorry Pat but not everyone and I would bet to say most Americans do not belive in the same things you do. Christians are suppose to be loving, forgiving and understanding and your views are not. Again, What Would Jesus Do?

Now I have more to say on Mr. Pat Robinsons comment. So were the Isrealites wrong when they wanted there freedom out of slavery? And they were Gods, chosen people. Did they make a pack with the devil as well? Because I don’t remember reading that in my bible.My brothers and sisters we can go on and on about what was said here but the real issue is Gods, word the bible. These things were allforetold in his word, Jesus said that there would be earthquakes in one place after another. And that this would be one of the signs that would mark his coming back soon. Also God is a God of life not death He, says that he will swollow up death forever. Revelation21:3,4 He, also says that he wishes no one to die.2Peter3:5-9. Also His, word says that if God, would not come no flesh would be saved due to everything man has done to eachother and the earth. Scientist say that the earth is literally making a moaning noise as it turns due to everything man has done to it. We have global warming, pollution, ocean bottom being hotter than normal which causes horrible storms (huricanes), going in and out of the solar system which breaks the ozone layer that protects the earth from the sun so the earth has become hotter and proof of this is the north pole is melting at alarming rates I can go on and on. The issue is that God knew that man was going to do this and that is why He, said no flesh would be saved unless He, would come back and stop all this and he plans to do just that.This scripture is for you Mr. Pat Robinson2Peter3:15-18.
